Layout and sketch

Óli is working in Akureyri this week and, on a whim, I decided to come too. I brought a bunch of scrapbooking supplies and my camera. The weather is really nice today and I'm just running out the door to go take pics since I have the day to myself while he's at work. Here's a layout I did yesterday at a friend's house and a sketch to go with it. The shaped paper is from Scrap as well as the title, flowers, circle tags, tulle ribbon and chandelier crystals. The gorgeous baby in the pics is my niece, Sóley who got to come to over for a visit this summer.

I made this box to store Erika's baby things. It contains some of her tiny outfits, her going home dress, pacifiers and hospital bracelets.

the ripoff preschool picture

When I got this picture last year I was so disappointed... not that the picture itself was bad (unless you look closely at the photoshop masking), but the paper it was printed on was just crappy cardstock!  And I paid 4.500 kr for it (around $60)... man I was disappointed, lol.  I still get a little stirred up when I look at the picture (well, pretty much only when I touch it), lol... I can be a nutcase :)
